Designers Stephanie
Munday and Dusty Murray attended a progressive cutting
session with Redken. On March 2nd, the entire Simplicity
Design Team attended training with hair artist, Tish
Hall, from Redken NYC. Tish presented ‘cutting
edge’ techniques in ‘bob’ cutting
and ‘color blocking/shadowing’. Color
blocking, or color shadowing is a technique which
allows the designer to place color in the hair that
reflects a certain pattern or ‘shadow’ effect.
This is a modern, innovative manner of creating color.
Talk with your stylist about how this technique could
enhance your look.
On March 16 and 17th, Designers
Melinda Bridendolph, Carla Overberger, and Melissa
Schriver attended an intensive ‘Razor
and Texture’ class
at the Graham Webb Academy in Washington,
D.C. Prepare
yourself to become a trendsetter with a cut created
using the razor techniques!
