Wedding Day….it’s your special day to look and feel beautiful! The designers at Simplicity are skilled in all the latest and hottest looks in ‘formal styles’.

If you’re going to be scheduling a formal style, here are some “Helpful Hair Hints”

• Healthy hair makes a big difference. You can do more with it! A week or two before your big event, schedule an appointment to have your hair deep conditioned and trimmed (to get the dead ends off!)
  
  
• If you plan to color/highlight your hair, do this the week before, this way you will have time to make any adjustments!
  
  
• Get your dress and jewelry first. Then begin looking for a hair style. The style and make of your dress will be a major factor in what style will look best!
  
  
• Be realistic…Select a hair style that works for your hair!!! Consider your hair texture and density (how much hair you have)…not all styles work in any hair type! Consult your stylist for this!
  
  
• Make your hair appointments as soon as possible! Especially if it’s on a Saturday, or you have a large wedding party.
  
  
• Make an appointment with your stylist for a ‘rehearsal’. It’s a great way to test your hair style before the big day! Take pictures after your ‘rehearsal’…this way you can make certain that this is the look for you, and if not, there’s time to tweak your look!
  
  
• Pick hair accessories based on your dress style and remember to bring them with you, so that the stylist can place them appropriately in your hair! This includes tiaras and veils!! Also bring them on the day of your ‘rehearsal’!
  
  
• HAIR HINT: FORMAL HAIR DOS WORK BETTER ON SLIGHTLY DIRTY HAIR!! WASH YOUR HAIR THE DAY BEFORE. CLEAN HAIR IS HARDER TO WORK ON. NEVER GO TO THE SALON WITH YOUR HAIR WET…THIS COULD ADD ADDITIONAL TIME AND COSTS.
  
  
• Wear a button up shirt while getting your hair done…you don’t want to mess up those tresses taking off a shirt!!
